

Workshop: Spit and Polish – Editing Your Own Work

Do you have a manuscript that you want to self-publish or submit to a publisher? Editing will help your words and ideas to shine. In this practical workshop you will learn about the three different stages of editing, practise applying them to short samples of writing and gain tips on how best to edit your own work.
Lorna Hendry is an IPEd-accredited editor and a teacher in RMIT University’s Professional Writing and Editing program. She is also the author of the travel memoir Wrong Way Round and 15 non-fiction books for children.
