The Jewish Quarterly is the preliminary journal publishing literary journalism examining Jewish issues and global affairs through a Jewish lens. Every new edition explores a central theme, political or cultural, to investigate through long-form essays written by preeminent voices internationally, offering complex perspectives on complex issues.
Each quarter, alongside the publication of the latest The Jewish Quarterly, the Jewish Museum of Australia will present a series of sessions that will further the conversations arising from the journal.
SESSION ONE: Tuesday 22 November: The Next Generation of Israeli Writers
Facilitator Ariele Hoffman will unpack leading critic Arik Glasner’s article which surveys a younger generation of Israeli writers, whose disparate voices and stories provide a crucial glimpse into Israel today.
SESSION TWO: Tuesday 29 November: Amos Oz and A.B. Yehoshua — An Extraordinary Friendship
