“… for my next, I have taken a heroine whom no one but myself will much like” Jane Austen 1814

To commemorate the 200th anniversary of the publication of “Emma” in 1816, this stylish new production reveals a more mature Jane Austen, quietly confident in her abilities as a novelist and as she turns 40, finally assuming an active role in managing her own affairs. Based on her letters of the period and the novel itself, this beautifully costumed entertainment invites you to enter the world of Jane Austen whilst introducing the “unlikeable” Miss Emma Woodhouse herself.

Cost $5
