Looped: artist books in the round

State Library Victoria

Event Date: 4 August 2017 to 31 August 2018
Author / Presenters: Gracia Haby and Louise Jennison

In this unique installation from artists Gracia Haby and Louise Jennison, each glass-panelled cabinet case around the domed reading room’s original heritage dais becomes a page.

Together, five artist books read as one tale told through collage and the written word.

Most books you can hold in your palm and read from top to bottom, front to back – but this is a book that you walk around to read.
