Writers Victoria

In this course, you’ll learn to draft poems while forming a community with other poets working in a range of different ways, under the expert guidance of Autumn Royal. After a day-long workshop on drafting, you’ll submit poems and receive feedback each month, allowing you to develop the writing that you submit and your voice as a poet. Workshop: Saturday 17 August, 10am – 4pm Submission deadlines: Poems of up to 80 lines due Tuesdays 24 September, 22 October, 26 November. This season, Writers Victoria’s Online Feedback Clinics have been reimagined, making them more flexible for participants. For the full experience, you can sign up for a workshop to get started and meet your tutor before you submit work for feedback from the tutor and your peers across a three-month period via our online forum. If you’d prefer to just dip a toe into the clinics, you can sign up for a one-day workshop; if you’re more confident in your drafting skills, you can opt, instead, to focus solely on the feedback rounds.
