Radio Laria Poetry supports women storytelling, however they need to; and this month we have a fabulous poet Jennifer Compton and a puppeteer extraordinaire, Lula Lala. Jennifer is a widely published, witty, challenging poet and an all-round great person to know. Lula Lala is talented artist and performer. Her puppets come alive with a unique life-force that only Lulu can create. Come to listen, come to look and if you need to, come along to express your own uniqueness on our open mic (10 spots available, 5 minute limit, all genders welcome and sign up on the night). Our venue Open Studio (204 High St, 3070) is a Northcote institution for culturally amazing gigs. The open mic is very supportive and we welcome new readers. Come along and join this warm, vibrant poetry community and don't forget about Open Studio's yummy crepes!
