Join us on Friday 13th of May at The Wheeler Centre event space for a very special IRL launch of issue 126 Voiceworks, themed 'Portrait', and celebrate the wonderful work of our out-going Editor Adalya and Designer Selena.

This will be our first IRL event since 2021's 'Reflex' Launch and will feature readings from our forthcoming issue, ‘Portrait’ as well as the four issues that were published between it and Reflex including: ‘Spectre’, ‘Pickle’ and ‘Saddle’. We’ll also have some unique Voiceworks merch available, think gold coin donation and a couple of fun surprised.

We're kicking off the party at 6pm, with readings starting at 7pm. Come see your Voiceworks friends in person, have a drink, dance, and get your hands on a copy of the mag, hot off the press.

Entry is free, and The Wheeler Centre is a wheelchair-accessible space. Readings and performance will be Auslan interpreted.

This event will be taking place on the stolen land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to elders past, present and future. Sovereignty was never ceded.
