Event Date: 27 November 2018
Author / Presenters: non/fictionLab with Kim Munro, Peta Murray, Stayci Taylor, Sophie Langley and Sian Prior

A performative nonfiction, polyphonic and participatory event celebrating the awkward in all of us and featuring readings from teenage diaries and other juvenilia with RMIT academics and writers Kim Munro, Peta Murray, Stayci Taylor, Sophie Langley and Sian Prior and possible mystery guests TBA. One of these mystery guests could be YOU. If you can excavate your childhood or teenage diary, and bring it with you on the night you too may be mortified in a public place!

Fresh from their world tour of Auckland and Arizona via Dromana, and founded by Kim Munro, Peta Murray and Stayci Taylor, The Symphony of Awkward is a research collective of writers and filmmakers dedicated to the scholarship of the emergent field of juvenile diary studies in their written and performed state.

Join us for ideas, inspiration and refreshments.
