Sisters for sisters

Distinctly different to other poetry nights in Melbourne, ‘We Run With Wolves’ (WRWW) champions diverse female voices, particularly women of colour and other marginalized voices in our community. The space we emerge from is also queer and trans positive.

Since March this year, we have been packing out WRWW nights at The Toff in Town, for audiences hungry for unapologetic brave voices and diverse programming.

For the Fringe, we are putting on two shows, featuring some of Australia’s most dynamic performance poets including Candy Royalle, Manal Younus, Candice Monique, Ee’da Brahim, Michelle Dabrowksi, Tariro Mavondo, Noelani A Chotes, Amal Ibrahim, Emilie Zoe Baker. This is narrative medicine -poetry as source of transformation, inspiration, celebration and peer education of various social and political issues.
