About Wal Kirsop

Wallace Kirsop is an Honorary Professorial Fellow at the University of Melbourne. He was the first President of the Bibliographical Society of Australia and New Zealand from 1969 to 1973 and is the past President of the Victorian Branch of the Book Collectors’ Society of Australia. His main research interest is book history, with a special emphasis on the promotion and marketing of publishers’ wares.
