conzoom-v-to infatuate oneself in other people’s appearance and emotions
symptoms include - addiction to social media, egomania, irate erratic behaviour and lack of self-awareness
Conzoom aims for you to wonder if what you share with the world is your true self. A mixture of photography, poetry, theatre and urban choreography examine how society is fascinated with the other. Whether through tabloids or scrolling through a social media application, this exhibition delves into our infatuation with other people’s issues and appearance. Conzoom is a platform for shedding away unconscious layers thus revealing a new self. Conzoom is a created word by Homsey and Harrison to unpack this concept and is actualised through exhibition , performance and an exhibition catalogue.
