Mark your calendars! The 2021 Stella Prize kicks off with the longlist announcement just over a month away on Thursday 4 March.

Tune in via our webiste as we announce the twelve longlisted books with a special broadcast from 7pm (AEDT).

Our host Paola Balla and the Chair of the 2021 Judging Panel, Zoya Patel will reveal the 2021 Stella Prize longlist. Together, they'll discuss what made these books by Australian women stand out in 2020, before we hear from the authors themselves.

We're welcoming Australian bookstores and libraries to celebrate the 2021 Stella Prize longlist with us. Ask your local bookseller or librarian whether they’ll be hosting any Stella events across March, or invite your book club over to watch together from home.

Either way, we do hope you’ll join us to celebrate another incredible year of Australian women’s writing.
