Cal Wilson presents George and the Great Brain Swappery

Monash University Performing Arts Centres

Event Date: 30 June 2022
Author / Presenters: Cal Wilson

Join comedian Cal Wilson as she presents the central character, George, from her fantastically funny children’s book series. Following this event there will be a book signing in the foyer with Cal. Bring your copy to get signed!

George Pepperton thinks you may find his family a little odd because his mum is an inventor extraordinaire, his brother is the size of a lemon, he took his mum's BRAIN SWAPPING MACHINE on a school excursion to the zoo and everyone's brains got swapped with WILD ANIMALS. Being a Pepperton is never boring!

Cal Wilson came across the Tasman in 2003 and has gone on to become one of our most popular comedians, a perennial favourite on television shows such as Spicks and Specks, Good News Week, and more recently Hughesy We Have a Problem. Her stand up shows are as engaging as they are hilarious, often bringing the audience’s stories to life alongside her own.

A gifted storyteller & writer, 2019 saw Cal become a children’s author, penning two books, George and the Great Bum Stampede, and George and the Great Brain Swappery.
