Launch of No Frontiers
PEN Melbourne
We're pleased to invite you to join PEN Melbourne for the inaugural launch of No Frontiers – a journal that defends freedom of expression, celebrates truth-telling, and stands in solidarity with writers at risk.
In a world where our belief in 'international community' and 'human rights' is being tested, where disinformation floods our feeds, truth-telling becomes an act of resistance. No Frontiers stands as a platform for those voices – writers, poets, journalists, and artists – who dare to speak truth to power.
Join us for an evening of intrepid thinking and vital perspectives. Featured readers include RMIT FactLab Associate Director Sushi Das, poet Bala Mudaly, and writer and academic Marion May Campbell.
This inaugural edition brings together fearless voices: Mammad Aidani on Iranian censorship, Linda Jaivin on trust and misinformation in Chinese communities, Plestia Alaqad's letter to fallen Palestinian journalists, Malcolm Knox on the impact of AI on audiences, and more.
