Write Around the Murray
In 2010, journalist Chris Hammer came to Write Around the Murray with his non-fiction work, The River: A Journey through the Murray-Darling Basin. He now returns with Scrublands, a mystery-thriller set in a ‘fictional, drought-affected Riverina town’. Scrublands has been sold to UK and US publishers amidst a great flurry of excitement and has already been optioned for television.
