Virtual Writer in Residence: Telling Life Stories with Catherine Dunne
Scott Steensma
What is it that makes ‘Once upon a time’ such an irresistible invitation? Why do we tell stories at all?
And why do we often dismiss our own story as ‘ordinary’ – meaning ‘dull, uninteresting’?
Catherine Dunne has been described by Roddy Doyle as one of Ireland's best novelists and she is author writer of ten novels and one non-fiction work. Join her for a fascinating workshop on telling your own story, the first in a series of three sessions that will explore how to tell the story of a life – your own, or the life of another.
Together you will look under the surface, peel back the silences, and reveal the wonders that lie beneath.
Registrants for this session will be emailed a zoom link to attend this online session, and will be able to attend future online sessions with Catherine.
Catherine is appearing as part of the 2022 Virtual Writers in Residence Program: https://en.unesco.org/creative-cities/events/virtual-writers-residence-b...
