Writing Life Stories and Memoirs – Michael Hyde

Wyndham City Libraries

Event Date: 4 November 2021
Author / Presenters: Michael Hyde

Are you thinking about writing a memoir during NaNoWriMo?

Michael Hyde has taught professional writing at Victoria University, and is widely known as the author of many children’s and young adult books as well as All Along the Watchtower, a riveting personal memoir of Sixties revolutionary fervour, packed with all the excitement, terror, uncertainty and subterfuge that was unique to that time in Australian history. Michael is coming to Hoppers Crossing Library to share with us his wealth of knowledge and experience of writing literary memoirs, in what is sure to be an educational night packed with exciting anecdotes. If you weren’t there you couldn’t possibly know, and if you were, why haven’t you written a story about it yet?
