Writing the Stars
Emerging Writers' Festival
In partnership with Scienceworks, EWF presents an expansive evening under the stars. Audiences will be treated to a viewing of the fulldome feature film Starlight. Starlight features stunning fulldome visualisations of being inside a supernova explosion and drifting through a stellar nursery, a rich gaseous nebula that is collapsing into stars. Following the film, hear star-inspired original performances by emerging writers.
There will be two sessions of Writing the Stars on Thursday 23 June.
Doors open: 7pm
Session 1: 7.30-8.30pm
Session 2: 9-10pm
Please note: Bella Waru is unfortunately no longer able to attend Writing the Stars. Bella Waru’s piece will be performed by their partner, Gemma Wyke.
