Event Date: 28 April 2022 to 19 May 2022
Author / Presenters: ALIA and State Library Victoria

Turn your story ideas into bingeable screen sensations at this Teen Writing Bootcamp with LoveOzYA author and screenwriter Nova Weetman.

At each workshop, you’ll examine different elements of screenwriting, including writing for different genres, the art of great dialogue and how to structure a short film.

The Teen Writing Bootcamp program provides budding teen writers with the opportunity to gain expert advice from great writers and tackle diverse writing styles and genres.

The program engages teens in writing, literature, and publishing with the aim of inspiring, encouraging, and improving literary skills.

All boot camps are open to teens aged 13 to 18 years old from all around Australia. They are free to attend, but require consent from a parent or guardian. Participation in this program will include sharing work created during the program.
