DESCRIPTION:There are only a couple of places still available in this residential weekend of writing masterclasses aimed at supporting your creative practice. \nWe’ll focus on: \n\nCreating and maintaining a writing practice that suits you\nTaking your writing project to the next stage\nTechniques and strategies to support your creativity\nTaking time to enjoy deep rest and rejuvenation\nGetting words down on the page\nHow to establish and embed sustainable writing habits\nTips and tools for the craft of writing\nCelebration and relaxation.\n\n\nWho’s it for? \n\n\nThis retreat is designed specifically for women and nonbinary writers at any stage of your career\, and in any genre.\nYou may feel you need more knowledge and in-depth craft focus\nOr you may be an experienced writer and want a recharge\, a reboot\, and some solid writing time away from your daily routine.\n\nYour retreat leader is Dr Kelly Gardiner\, acclaimed author\, editor\, and creative writing teacher. \nOur venue is the divine and newly renovated Continental House in Hepburn Springs. The fee includes expert tuition from Kelly in two masterclasses each day plus extra writing activities\, two nights’ accommodation in your own room with private bathroom\, Hammam spa session\, yoga classes each morning\, writers’ salon\, and refreshments\, with all meals prepared by an award-winning local caterer.

Writing feel like a lonely gig? \nThen come write with us. \n\n\nThis weekend residential retreat is for you\, if you want focused writing time to work on your own project\, in companionable silence. Your work can be in any form or genre\, so long as it’s creative writing. \nThis retreat uses tried-and-true – and fun – methods to help you break through blocks and make precious time for your writing. \nThe weekend retreat is fully residential at Continental House\, a newly-renovated heritage guesthouse in beautiful Hepburn Springs. \nApart from our shared writing sessions\, there’ll also be free writing time set aside each day\, where we can spread out across the property\, writing in silence wherever we like – on the deck or the garden\, together at shared tables\, lounging on a bed or sofa\, or while walking in the bush. \nThe fee includes your own room with en suite\, all meals and activities such as a yoga class\, hot tub and sauna.
