SAVE THE DATE – Footscray West Writers
West Footscray Arts
We are excited to officially announce that 2027 Footscray West Writers Fest is a go! Returning to the streets, bars, library, Chestnut Tree bookshop, pizza joints and other weird and wonderful venues in West Footscray. Our theme is The Brave & The Curious, dedicated to the storytellers, writers and thinkers who ask hard questions and answer them honestly. Who put the truth on the page when it might be easier not to. Who speak up when others won’t. Who find new ways to show us the world as they see it. Choosing to write, to think, to wonder, is its own kind of courage. To commit to a life of words when the economics make it brutally hard is an act of bravery. And brave voices need a curious audience. People who show up with an open mind and a willingness to listen. We already have many wonderful things cooking! Stay tuned for announcements or hear them first when you join our mailing list at FWWF.com.au
