The Writer Aquatic
Emerging Writers' Festival
Writers bewitched by their local pool gather at the iconic “aqua profonda” Fitzroy Pool. Soak in an evening of poetic musings related to the ritual of lap-swimming, and the vital role that public pools play in the writer’s imagination, and to their wellbeing.
Go ahead and take a dusk dip before or after the reading, at a discounted price.
Please note, seating at this event will be limited. There will be a few chairs and we will provide some cushions and blankets.
We encourage you to bring along a blanket/towel or a camping chair if available.
If you do need a chair, please email us at [email protected], and we will make sure to have one reserved for you
