Tough Guy Book Club presents Book Day Out - A Festival Of Men's Reading.
Book Day Out is a one-day festival celebrating men’s reading, put on by Tough Guy Book Club. Think of it as a book market with the energy of a good pub. Indie publishers, local bookstores, authors, comic creators, zines and craft are all in one place, with cold drinks, good food and live music. You can browse, buy, get a book signed and talk to the people who make them. Alongside the stalls, there’s a main stage with author panels and Q&As, casual conversation in the bar, a quiet zone for anyone who just wants to read, and plenty of giveaways and prizes. Whether you’re into science fiction, thrillers, horror, romantasy, graphic novels or history, there’ll be something to take home. Tough Guy Book Club is a charity network of more than 10,000 members across 200+ chapters, meeting monthly in local pubs to read, meet people and have rowdy conversations. Book Day Out brings that same no-nonsense, friendly spirit to one big day.Subscribe to events
