In ‘Axiomatic’, author Maria Tumarkin takes five axioms and interrogates their value as self-evident truths. Does time really heal all wounds? Are those who forget the past condemned to repeat it? Is the child at age seven dreflective of the woman? Dmetri Kakmi talks to Maria Tumarkin about memory, facing the traumas of the past and writing a slippery kind of understanding.
